At ERA - GISS joined stand ERA has been focusing on the passive surveillance solutions for modern defence concept, and GISS has presented the satellite and tactical communications and the air traffic management systems.

ERA team has presented its unique systems to a number of VIP visitors, army officials, business partners and journalists.  Among VIP guests was His Excellence Břetislav Dančák, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Poland, who paid a visit to ERA boost and was introduced to its latest innovations. ERA Sales Manager had an interview for CZ Defence magazine explaining ERA defence product portfolio: its sensors VERA-NG and PLESS and the SW family of information systems.

MSPO (Międzynarodowy Salon Przemysłu Obronnego - International Salon for Defense Industry) Kielce offers four days of expositions of military technologies and opportunities for business meetings. MSPO has had a long tradition, and its significance strengthens rapidly within last years along with growing number of participants. Over 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries participated in the exhibition, and the exhibition area at the Targi Kielce venue reached 53,500 m² thanks to the opening of a new hall.

At NATO Days, ERA presented its passive surveillance systems in collaboration with other companies of OMNIPOL Group: MESIT, Aircraft Industries, Aero Vodochody, OMNIPOL Defence, and OMNIPOL Airports. In the OMNIPOL Group’s shared chalet, company representatives welcomed distinguished guests: officials of the Czech Armed Forces, political leaders, business partners, foreign delegations, and journalists. Meanwhile, at the outdoor exhibition area, ERA experts explained the added value of the VERA-NG and PLESS sensors to visitors and highlighted several promising newcomers to portfolio in development. Within the weekend in the airport’s VIP zone they hosted—among others—Czech President Petr Pavel, Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček, and Minister of Defence Jaromír Zůna.

Around eight hours of programming were scheduled for each day, featuring dynamic demonstrations both in the air and on the airfield. One of the event's highlights was the display of a German-liveried Tornado aircraft; this marked the first time the public in Mošnov had seen this aircraft perform in flight. The event culminated in a performance by the British aerobatic team, the Red Arrows.

There was also significant interest in the aircraft and other equipment featured in the static displays. The Czech Army’s newest acquisition, the Embraer C-390 Millennium transport aircraft, also made its public debut there.

Spectators watched demonstrations such as an intervention by the Ostrava Municipal Police’s operational and public order units against a group disturbing the peace. The audience also witnessed a tactical response by the Prison Service and the Czech Police to an attack on a prison transport, as well as a joint operation by the Czech and German Customs Administrations against perpetrators of illegal cross-border activities.

ERA will present its land-based surveillance and reconnaissance systems, namely sensors Passive ESM Tracker VERA-NG and Over the Horizon Direction Finder PLESS plus ERA Information Systems and Tools.
