ERA presented at the conference on NATO – Czech defence industry cooperation

The Association of the Defence and Security Industry of the Czech Republic (DSIA, e.g. AOBP in Czech) organized the professional conference "Current NATO Programs and Opportunities for the Czech Defence Industry", held at the Army Museum Žižkov - Military History Institute in Prague, on January 27, 2026.

ERA was invited in the role of partner of the event and Vojtěch Stejskal, ERA Chief Strategy Officer, performed as one of the main panellist and top speakers. In his speech he stressed the key role of passive surveillance solutions for current multi-layer Air Defence concept and Electronic Warfare. A mention was made about long term relationship between ERA and NATO institutions: ERA´s passive system DPET (Deployable Passive ESM Tracker) has been acquired by NCIA (NATO Communications and Information Agency) and ERA experts are part of NATO STO (Science and Technology Organization) Working Groups repeatedly hosting/participating in its meetings  and trials.

The aim of the conference was to present specific opportunities for participation in NATO initiatives to representatives of top Czech defence and security industry companies, especially in the areas of research, development, testing, acquisitions and international cooperation. They were presented in person by high ranked officials of NATO Headquarters, Allied Command Transformation (ACT), STO, NIAG, NCIA, NATO Innovation Fund (NIF) and other relevant Alliance institutions. Special focus was on new programme DIANA - Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, its offers and “how to participate recipe” for Czech companies.

Among the notable guests were: Jaromír Zůna, Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic (MoD), David Konecký, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to NATО,  Radka Konderlová, Director General of Industrial Cooperation Division of MoD,  John-Mikal Størdal, Director of Collaboration Support Office of STO, Moritz Zimmermann, Innovation Officer of Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments Division, NATO HQ, Kristýna Helm, Vice President of АОВР, and others.

ERA as one of the main partners, along with Colt CZ Group and Luminova Ventures, was represented by ERA Commercial Director Jakub Thomas.
