H. E. Emily McLaughlin, the Ambassador of Canada to the Czech Republic, visited ERA headquarters
A delegation of officials from the Embassy of Canada to the Czech Republic, including Her Excellency Emily McLaughlin, the Ambassador, Christian Hallé, the Counsellor of Commercial Affairs, and Martina Taxová, the Commercial Officer, visited ERA headquarters. They travelled there to meet ERA managers and explore the possibilities of cooperation with ERA – a remarkable defence technology producer.
ERA welcomed the diplomats from the transatlantic country to its headquarters in the city of Pardubice on January 26, 2026. The main goal of the visit was a demonstration of the unique Czech technologies developed by ERA, with focus on its flagship, the passive surveillance system VERA-NG.
The guests were welcomed by ERA Senior Sales Manager Ondřej Jebálek and the program began with a short introduction to ERA, its history and product portfolio, especially the products suitable for defence and security purposes, effectively opposing current threads. There was also a display of ERA passive surveillance solutions for Electronic Warfare operators in the DEMO room and a brief tour around ERA premises. Mention was made of ERA’s achievements in civilian projects already successfully running in Canada, such as Air Traffic Management systems deployed at several Canadian airports.
