Return to Riyadh: ERA introduced its systems to partners from Persian Gulf

ERA introduced its passive surveillance solutions for Air Defence and Electronic Warfare at the trade fair World Defence Show 2026 (WDS), held in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on February 8 - 12.

ERA exhibited along with its sister companies MESIT, Aero Vodochody and other companies of Czech defence industry. ERA Sales managers have presented the battle proven Passive ESM Tracker VERA-NG and early warning Over the Horizon system PLESS, both for tracking and identification of airborne, maritime and land-based targets with a special focus on their role in opposing the current threads. Several prominent delegations visited the official Czech stand, including Saudi Arabia officials. As part of the WDS, ERA representatives also joined the networking reception organized by the Czech Embassy in Riyadh.

The prestigious five-day event, held at Exhibition & Convention Centre (Malham), was visited by around 770 exhibitors, 440 international delegations and 100+ thousand visitors from 76 countries. It was aimed at demonstrating technology from the land, sea, and air sectors of defence. The air show included live daily demonstrations, a dedicated Land Demonstration Track, and a runway for static aircraft displays at the Riyadh airport.
