The CzechInvest Defence Hub, a part of the NATO DIANA organization, visited ERA HQ
A delegation of newly established platform Defence Hub (Czech branch of NATO DIANA organization) visited the ERA premises last week. The members of Defence Hub from several foreign companies plus the involved representatives of CzechInvest travelled to Pardubice to meet ERA experts and explore the possibilities of cooperation with ERA company – a remarkable defence and security technology producer.
The main goal of the visit was an introduction to ERA portfolio of defence solutions with focus on the latest technologies in the field of passive detection and identification of land-based, maritime and airborne targets.
The guests were welcomed by the ERA Head of Strategy Department Vojtěch Stejskal, and the program consists of short introduction to ERA company and overall description of those of its products suitable for defence purposes: namely Passive Tracker VERA-NG and over the horizon Direction Finder PLESS. The mention was made about new ERA R&D projects leading to future solutions according the global need to oppose current threads. There was also a display of ERA solutions in DEMO room and a brief tour around ERA premises.
The event was organized as a part of the mission of NATO DIANA organization, supported by the agency CzechInvest.
